Invite Friends

There are many resources you can use to invite friends and associates to help us in our program to End Polio. One of the easiest and best methods is to send an email to your friends and associates. You probably have dozens of email addresses in your email address book. Send each of these people an email with a link to http://www.endpolio.com. Tell them how enthusiastic you are and how the District and Rotary International are working hard to End Polio and protect everyone from the scourge of Polio.

Another very effective method of getting the word out is using Social Networks like Facebook, Plaxo, etc. to communicate with your network buddies. Post on your favorite Social Network page and include the URL to http://www.endpolio.com.

Old fashioned US mail is another powerful transmitter. When you get a personal letter from a friend, it is hard to ignore. Tell your correspondents how important you think it is that we End Polio once and for all. Remind them that in this jet age "Polio is only a plane ride away." As long as it is still active in part of the world, it is still a threat here at home.

Give a friend a call on the phone or text message your friend. Tell them to check out the web site http://www.endpolio.com. Tell them how easy it is to make a donation and help save a life!

The Hard Way to Invite Friends

You can send an email via your favorite email client. We have a couple of canned letters you can download and either attach to your email or copy into your email. Then enter your friends email address and send the email. You can use these canned letters for your social network or if you send an invitation via the US mail.

The Easy Way to Invite Friends via Email or Social Networks

You can send invitations to your friends on most of the Web based Email sites like GoogleMail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. or most of the Social Network sites like Facebook, MySpace, Plaxo, Last.fm, Twitter, etc. Follow this LINK and select a "Email provider or Social Network" then fill in the "Email/Account" information and "Password" for that provider or network. Click "Import Contacts". You will be provided with a message box where you can enter a personal message or use our pre-written message that appears in the box. Select the friends you want to invite by checking the email addresses provided.
